  Digital Valve Positioner PMV D3

The PMV D3 is a Digital Valve Positioner with exceptional features and benefits. The computer-optimised pneumatic relay with piezoelectric valves offers great dynamic performance together with very low steady state air consumption.

All information is presented on a large graphic display and configuration is simple from five large push buttons or from a HART® handheld communicator.

  
  Intrinsically Safe Valve Positioner PMV D3I

The D3I Intrinsically Safe Valve Positioner is available in an Intrinsically Safe Version for installation in hazardous areas. It features the same easy to use user interface for local configuration as D3. Communication with HART® is possible.

D3I Intrinsically Safe Valve Positioner features all benefits and options similar to the Standard D3 Positioner, gauge block, local graphic LCD display and feedback option etc.

   Digital Valve Positioner in Explosion Proof Enclosure PMV D3E
The PMV Digital Valve Positioner D3 is available in Explosion Proof Enclosure. It features the same easy to use user interface for local configuration as D3.

Communication via HART® is possible. Further features are gauge ports local graphic LCD display, and a built in 4-20mA position transmitter.
  
  Gas Approved Digital Valve Positioner PMV D3E
The PMV D3E Digital Valve Positioner has been examined and certified for gas service by QPS. The certification is based on certain installation criteria.

The unit needs to be installed using an Explosive Fluid Seal, or Two Explosion Proof Epoxy Seals in tandem and a breather fitting in one of the conduit entries. (see attached drawing)

Each unit is stamped with a serialized QPS Approval label. A certificate will accompany each positioner showing serial number and the corresponding QPS tag. Cancoppas Limited will install the breather fitting, the customer is responsible to install the Two Explosion Proof Epoxy Seals.

The unit is not for use in H2S environments. All exhaust ports must be vented using threaded fittings. The breather should be exhausted separately or in such a way as to not send pressurized gas back through the breather into the positioner body.
