Laser Based Non-Contact
Level And Position Indicators Theory of Operation:
The
time-of-flight of infrared laser pulses are measured with
a precision interval timer; multiple readings are averaged
then output, resulting in high-accuracy level measurements
even under the most demanding conditions. Rapid, accurate
readings are possible because the unique properties of
laser are unaffected by conditions such as pressure, vacuum,
temperature, vapor, stratified off gases, tank geometry,
obstacles or off-center mounting.
